HIRING Dv
Music Video

"Apprehensions" by Shulamit Ran

Performance by soprano Julia Bentley. Pulitizer laureate composer Shulamit Ran commissioned this production.

"American Howl Quartet Part 1" by George W. Flynn

Chicago poetry group Anaphora commissioned this composition and the composer hired me to produce this document of a performance with Marc Embree reading, George Flynn, piano, and young monster players on violin, clarinet, and cello.

'Hustle Hard' a music video

I produced this for Sean Nitty, Big Cash and the rest of the Raw Doggz.
They were great to work with.
My favorite parts are the Sex Sting and the night scene lit by the Ruff Ryderz with their motorcycles.

'Welcome To Chicago', a music video

Cheeks Dat Deal of Straight To The Point Productions stars in this bittersweet ode to Chicago and his life on the West Side. Favorite part of the shoot: he and his perform on the corner of S. St. Louis and W. Flournoy. 'Pimps, players and hustlers, everywhere I go.' Also, "Stay away from 16th Street, chicks got clam chowder" with clapter.

"Wine" music video ROUGH EDIT, for ATM

This shoot was a gas. I was hired to DP, edit , and help out the tyro director. There's no finished version but this one looks pretty good, partly because of all the great looking talent.
If this were my own project, I'd finish it a little lighter overall.
This photo by the estimable Emily Grimes, q.v.

'Raw Doggz at the Midwest Rappers Ball' 6 min 56 sec.

Hip hop glamour at the Regal. Lots of profiling on the red carpet then the Doggz did their usual electrifying set.

Carolyn Carney makes a cool move. 6 seconds.

The raw footage was from her Fulbright application.

"What Will I Do Next?" by Bull Daboi 3 min. 42 sec.

There's a sequence late in the video of Bull's brother Cheeks shooting craps on a pool table. Some of my favorite images. The greenscreen dream world was produced by Ninja and Bull asked me to use it.
